Because it is so near to the ferry port….. about 5 minutes by foot, it is perfectly feasible to travel as a foot passenger either with Brittany Ferries or Condor fast craft.  There is also a small airport at Dinard about a 15 minute drive away.  Just a ten minute walk away there is Intra Muros ( city within the walls) a fascinating place steeped in history, much of which was razed to the ground in the war, but has been rebuilt in the old style.  Here there is a wonderful atmosphere with street musicians, restaurants, exciting boutiques, and late night festivities. St Servan also has its own unique atmosphere. Because it is a small community within a larger one it is often likened to a village feel, and you will find the locals very friendly and helpful. Here also are a range of very different boutiques in which to browse, and there is a small supermarket for everyday necessities. Restaurants are at your fingertips as is a lovely beach and marina.
